IELTS Academic is do those students who wish to study or get admission in Colleges, Universities abroad whereas the General module of IELTS is useful for people who wish to migrate to USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand etc. The tests are also scored differently from each other.

If you take the computer-delivered IELTS test, then you will receive your results 5 to 7 days after you complete the last section of your test.

You will receive an automated email on your registered mail id in 3 working days. If you do not receive a confirmation, email within 7 days from the date of upload of challan, please contact us immediately.
If you miss your IELTS test, then you won't get a refund and you will have to pay for another test. The only way that you can get a refund is if there is serious medical situation and you had to be admitted to a hospital. You would need to display relevant medical documents of hospital admission.
The IELTS is valid up to 3 years from the date of the exam. The result date will not play any role in the validity of IELTS. The IELTS validity is totally based on the test date.
There is no limit to the number of times you can take the IELTS test. You can take it as many times as you wish until you achieve your dream score. However, you will need to pay the test fee for each attempt.
From 4 January 2020, some small changes were introduced to the instructions and layout of the paper-based Listening test: The word 'Sections' was changed to 'Parts' – The paper-based test will now be divided into Part 1, 2, 3, 4. The Part 1 example was removed. We have also removed the page number references.
